Saddle Fitting
All saddles purchased from Top Hat Tack include remote saddle fitting for as long as you own that saddle. We are here to help you and your horse succeed. On your initial consultation we review how to adjust the saddle with the Allen wrench and what to look for to properly fit your horse(s). We can do this on Whats Ap video, Google Meet video or through text photos depending on your internet service out near the horses. We also have some information posts you can review at any time.
Once you get your DP saddle please book an appointment with a Top Hat Tack representative to make sure you fit the saddle correctly to your horse and know how to operate the adjustment of the saddle. If you have a trainer we are happy to teach them how to fit the saddle also. If you only have your trainer fit the saddle for you without assistance by a Top Hat Tack representative you risk the saddle not fitting correctly. They are not engineered the same as other fixed tree saddles and most saddle fitting training programs do not teach what is needed for DP Adjustable saddles.
In Person fittings can be arranged. Travel costs apply as well as fitting appointment fees depending on the fitting you are requesting. Travel costs can be shared with multiple people and horses. If saddles are shipped in for you to try shipping fees will apply. If you purchase that saddle shipping fees for that saddle will be credited back towards the purchase price of the saddle.
- Equiscan measurements $100/horse: 3D measurements of your horses entire back. This is great for matching a hard to fit horse with a saddle that is not at your location. It can also track your horses progress through training and healing.
- General Measurements $50: General saddle fitting information based on your horse. This can be used to help you select a saddle and evaluate your horse's back health
- Saddle Evaluation, of a saddle you already own that was not purchased through Top Hat Tack. $75/saddle/horse
