DP Custom Order

Build your custom DP Saddle 

Here are some things we will need to know to put the order in for your custom built DP Saddle. 

Check list:

• Model: Start by selecting the Model you are most interested in. If you are unsure feel free to contact us to discuss your goals and riding needs. All DP Models can be seen HERE
  
  • El Campo Regular & Shorty Options can be seen HERE
• Size: Size chart HERE
• Leather Colors: Review the leather options here LEATHER
  • Base Color
    • If you are planning on getting tooling please select Natural, Chestnut, Havana or Black. Those are the only leathers thick enough for tooling.
  • Soft Seat/Leg leather color, each area can be different if desired. You can use nappa, nubuck, aspen or suede in any of the soft leather areas. Mix and match both color and leather type to suit your needs. 
• Hardware Color: Brass/Gold or Silver
• Upgrades that you would like. Please see the Model page for options available on that particular model. 
  • Tooling
    • Areas to add tooling
      • Back of the cantle, pommel area, skirting/flap area, whole saddle, fender
    • Floral Tooling
    • Basket Tooling 
    • Boarder Tooling Options
  • SKL (Soft Leg Area) available on some models. this is a soft patch under the thy area on the flap of a baroque/English saddle. El campo Western and Quantum models. 
  • Quantum Western models WD Seat (narrower) vs regular
  • Western styles Horn or No Horn.
  • Rawhide (stitching, lacing, horn, cantle trim, stirrups)
  • Baroque models -Stirrup holder loops  braided, plain, none
  • Extra hardware
    • Breast Collar D rings (standard on some models)
    • Footman loops on the back of the cantle
    • Crupper Ring
    • Conchos 
  • Latigo String Pairs: Front, back, additional.
• Tack
  • Girth, and Fear cinch set (western)
  • Bridle
  • Reins
  • Breast Collar
  • Crupper strap
  • Saddle pad
  • Stirrup leathers
  • Irons 
  • Fur seat cover

Select the options that you would like and we can price out your custom DP saddle for you. 

Custom built saddles take about 3-4 months to build. 1/2 deposit is due to start the build and the balance is due at completion. Custom orders are non refundable. If you want to try a saddle that is on inventory prior to placing a custom order, there is a 14 day trial period. Shipping to and from for the trial will be charged, but shipping for your custom order will be a gift with purchase.
