Reflocking and rebalancing your DP saddle panels is very important for general saddle maintenance. Also if you buy a used DP saddle that is flocked you should get it reflocked before using it on your horse.
We charge $500 for reflocking a DP saddle, it takes about 6-8 hours to do it properly and to rebalance the saddle back to manufacturer settings. We do not do this in the field because it needs a clean environment to ensure your flocking doesn't have debris in it. We also use special equipment to make sure that the saddle is balanced and leveled properly.
